What is Biophysics?

Introduction

"Biophysics" is an interdisciplinary subject that uses physics, chemistry, computer and mathematics to study biology. It spans vary large length scales  from the very large such as the search of life in the univerise, the origin and evolution of life on earth, distribution of living systems, animal motion and how their bodies work, behaviours;  down to cellular and molecular scales such as how cells move and communicate to how proteins and DNA work as nano-machines.  Recently, biophysics has been one of the fastest growing field in physics and probably one of the most interesting ones too with a lot of people from various disciplines coming to work for
